EUROPEAN SPRUCE

One of the most requested species for windows. Suitable for all kinds of glazes.

Window scantlings made of spruce timber are on stock as follow:

Finger-jointed, length 6 000 mm.
Density: 450 kg/m3 at moisture content 12% ± 2%.

NORDIC PINE

This species belongs to due to good processing property to one of the most popular species for window scantlings. Well suited for windows on buildings at higher altitudes.

Window scantlings made of pine timber are on stock as follow:

    2-layers:
  • 48 x 65 mm
  • 48 x 75 mm
  • 48 x 145 mm
  • 54 x 65 mm
    3-layers:
  • 63 x 65 mm
  • 72 x 75 mm
Finger-jointed, length 6 000 mm.
Density: 550 kg/m3 at moisture content 12% ± 2%.

EUROPEAN LARCH

Highly resistant wood with distinctive markings and reddish coloration. Using larch scantling brings long life for windows, but it requires intensive manufacturing and coloring.

Density: 650 kg/m3 at moisture content 12% ± 2%.

EUROPEAN OAK

Long- life and the best quality wood for production of wooden windows. Hard species with typical coloration. At oak it´s not necessary to have vertical-/semi-vertical grain.

Density: 750 kg/m3 at moisture content 12% ± 2%.
